The chronicles of Erica, a textile and mixed media artist living in Sydney, Australia, as she meanders her way through a life filled with fabric, clay, paper, glass and dolls ..... and dragons
We took our Dutch friend to Sydney's Dutch shop, where there was (predictably) an abundance of blue and white delft china and wooden clogsand lots of yummy Dutch food
oh wow. I had no idea there was such a thing as cow-spotted clogs, and now you've got me lusting after a pair.
..and I'm told you traditionally wear them packed with hay to keep your feet warm - that should make quite a fashion statement!
ha! I suspect if I owned some they would just end up more clutterbuggery hanging on a wall.
funny to see all these HAK-stuff vegatables in pot, which I can found in every supermarket here in Holland, love from a dutchie, Dorie
thanks Dorie, our friend was more interested in the Dutch sweets than the HAK vegetables :))
