I used a plastic Alice band, covered in fabric and my dragon pattern, sewn and glued very firmly onto the fabric covered band and then painted the whole lot in metallic paints.
Unfortunately my hair is too short to settle it in securely and the dragon is a little top heavy. I didn't want to frighten everyone by showing what it looks like on me.
I had to call on my support staff to model for me.
